The Columbia 42 is a beautiful semi scale model of the 1958 Americas Cup winner, Columbia US16
There are over 150 boats on the water from Newport Rhode Island to Fairbanks Alaska and everywhere in between.
What started off as a need to find a solution to summer weeds, has evolved into a new AMYA class of RC sailboat: The Columbia 42.

Beautiful to Display and Sail

The Columbia 42 has some unique

advantages over other RC sailboats:

She is beautiful to look at on display in your home/office or sailing on your pond, bay or lake.
At 42" in length she can easily be moved fully rigged from display model in your home/office to RC sailing on the water.
She is sleek and responsive under sail. Her traditional hull/keel design glides through weeds keeping you sailing all summer long.

Availability

The Columbia 42 is sold as a kit OR as a ready to sail complete boat.

Kits include: one piece hull, pre cut deck , spars, ballast, rudder, deck hardware, spar hardware and servo trays. Not included: sails, standing rigging, bowsies, running rigging and s/s screw eyes, servos, transmitter/receiver
Ready to Sail Boats Include: Custom hull and deck color, servos, all running and standing rigging, sails, transmitter/receiver.
